ROL Intelligent Office Shapes the Future of Work at Orgatec: A Lasting Impact on the Industry

October 25-29 Cologne, Germany – The office furniture industry made a statement at the 2022 Orgatec trade fair, with creativity, sustainability, and digitalization on display in nearly every hall. The ROL Intelligent Office stand was no exception, drawing attention from visitors for its sleek design and for showcasing intelligent features that optimize the hybrid work experience.

Over the course of 5 days, more than 600 exhibitors from 43 countries presented their concepts to around 45,000 visitors from 130 countries.

The main takeaways from our experience at Orgatec are that companies are shifting towards a hybrid office model, and are investing in solutions to enable flexible working. The design of buildings and offices is also changing to accommodate this shift. Many companies are looking for help in defining and designing their future workplaces, resulting in an increased demand for workplace consultancy as well as digital tools to manage space and improve employee experience of hybrid work. The slow-down in economy drives a desire for more data-driven decision making, but companies often lack the systems that provide these insights.

We are thrilled with the response to our ROL Intelligent Office stand at Orgatec 2022. It is clear that the office consultants and professionals attending the event are searching for solutions that deliver more insights into the evolving nature of work and of workspace,” said Rod Walker, CEO of ROL Group. “Our renowned commitment to inspiration, integration, and sustainability resonated with visitors and we look forward to deliver further insights to stakeholders with our industry leading solution.
